Time to Snuggle...

Snow on the nest this morning... Not many little heads peaking out today. Poor Momma is getting kicked in the ribs BIG TIME, but she is committed to keeping her babies warm. Dad's duties today will not only include providing fresh fish, but shielding the little ones from the wind...he is spending much more time in the nest this morning then I've ever seen. They get my vote for "Parents of the Year"...brrrr, they look so cold.

Snuggle time in the nest... I love you, yes I love you too...

Have a good weekend,

Brenda

First thing I do in the morning is check the nest! Second thing check your blog! Yes Gerri I relate! Add my vote to parents of the year - it sure is hard not to put human feelings to what they are going through, mother nature can be downright nasty! But I STILL wish I could throw a blanket over momma daddy and babies!!

Oh, that photo is so sad looking...I hate to go to the site!
Let's hope for some sunshine and warmth soon....and less wind.

I have a hard time watching it too, I want to put a blanket around them as well. I feel like they are mine and I want to give them names.. Freedom, Liberty and Justice for the little ones :) Mom and Dad, I have not decided yet..

I just got my Soar pattern! It is beautiful, as always! I do think you out-do yourself each time! I also check the nest and then your blog every morning, first thing! Thank you for a wonderful place to visit and keep up with the family we all love!

Mornin',Brenda:
I received my Soar sampler on Thursday and as soon as I can I'll get my floss colors. My wrist isn't
healing as fast as I thought it would. I'm kinda sad that I'll miss starting the stitch along but I'll get over it! It turned freezing here again yesterday and during the night. No snow but windy. I think the Eagle family has their own "reality show" like
the Hollywood people except that the Eagles are much more talented and interesting. They remind me of an old married couple, they are just too adorable. Didn't you love the hairdos today? I noticed the work you finished the other day, it looks very pretty. And, isn't it incredible what the total for the donation has reached? Like I said the other day, the Raptor Resource people are going to sing your praises. Won't they be surprised to find out about the happy stitchers out here and I'm sure they will be in awe of your design idea to commemorate the Eagles.
Happy Stitching & Warm Regards,

I'm glad the snow is melting and apparently the wind has calmed some. Did you notice earlier that the fresh catch of the day was so fresh that it almost jumped out of the nest?! Talk about sushi.

I took a peek this morning and thought - "oh what a miserable day". It was rainy, windy and miserable in my part of the world today too, but at least I was inside working in a quilt store with LOTS of pretty fabric :) Hope our day was warm. Regards, Laurie
